Engagement shoots serve 2 purposes. Firstly, you get some great photos of the two of you to frame or use as save the date cards. Secondly, they help acclimatise you to being in front of the camera and get us better acquainted too. Lots of us aren't natural posers and so it can help you relax on the big day itself and in turn make your wedding photos something extra special if you've had time to get used to it. It's a relaxed session and can be in whatever location you choose. It's a great chance to wear that outfit you have saved for 'a special occassion' too and have photos of the two of you doing something you love to do, or somewhere that's really important to you as a couple.
